Hi,
We're looking at recording concession card details (e.g. card number and expiry date) within a constituents account. Just wondering if there are other organisations out there doing the same thing, and if so where they record these details? We're looking for an out of the box solution, but are curious to custom solutions too.
Thanks,
Courtney
Thanks Nicholas. Attributes was our first thought too, but we were curious to see if others were doing it.

Hi Courtney,
For new concession members, we record their concession numbers as a custom Attribute.
However, when we have in the past considered creating new Constituencies that mirror common concessions (student, senior, healthcare card holder).
When we did consider it, I imagined that we could continue to record their concession number as a custom Attribute, but leverage the Constituency for reporting, and also lock concession online price types to customers with a concession Constituency via web rankings in the same fashion we lock member price types to those with a Member Constituency.
We did not go down the second path, but I believe there is a lot of flexibility there. For greater privacy, you could even just have the concession Constituency with the end date be the concession expiration date, and have business practices that ensure a staff member sighted the valid concession card.
Best of luck!
Nicholas
