Is performance in a package?

I know there's a way to search for a performance in the Season Manager and see if a single performance is also part of a package, but I can't seem to find it.

Hoping someone can refresh my memory.

Thanks,

Tatiana

  • Tatiana -

In Season Manager - House View -> Product Search (the little tab on the side). If you select a Season and performance info like title, perf date, day, etc) and have the radio button set to 'Packages (any perf)' that should return any package that has performances that meet the criteria you've set.

Hope that makes sense and is what you were looking for!

  • Hi Heather, thanks for your response.

Actually, I'm looking for a way to know if a performance is part of a package without looking at package info.  Sorry I wasn't clearer.

I know we can filter by packages in the product search and I can also run a report on package details, but I was hoping there was an opposite way.  Starting at the performance and seeing it's part of a package.

    Hope that makes sense.

  • You can find all performances that are part of a selected package, but that may not be exactly the same thing as what you wrote.

To find all performances in a package, leave Search For set to Performances, and then select the package from the Package dropdown.

You can also find packages based on performance criteria, which may be closer to what you want.  To do that, set the Search For to Packages (any perf) or Packages (all perfs) and then use the desired criteria.  It’s not possible to select a specific performance, but you can select a specific Title or specific date, which should be pretty close.

  • In the Product Catalog, if you double click on a performance; then Click on the Availability tab; Package Description, Code and Type are listed on the second half of the screen.

    Hopefully?  this was helpful.

Yes, we knew about that.  we were hoping to be able to see it in the Product Search.

    Thank you

  • Hi Tatiana:
If you are in an order screen (only ticketing folks can do this, but it works really well), you can click on the 'product info' button at the bottom of the order screen, the click on the 'availability' tab.  This will give you a brilliant little page giving availabilty by zone, by hold and all packages that are included on this performance.

You should be able to get to this page through your Season Manager / Calendar: double-click on a performance. At first you'll get performance details, but if you click on that 'availability' tab, you'll get this same page with availability, hold info and a list of all packages associated with this performance.  You might need security to see it, but it's there.

    Best of luck,

  • Thank you much Mark!  That was helpful.
