Ticket Designs - Slide Up Functionality

We are having an issue with the Slide Up functionality on our Post Ticket Header.

We have all address elements on the Post Header set to slide up to fill gaps when fields are missing information - which is pretty standard. For local addresses we do not print the country, however we would like this to appear for international addresses for the rare occasion that we would send tickets internationally.

Our issue arises when the country is required to be printed. We have two data elements (State and Postal Code) that fall directly above the Country element. When we have the country element set to slide up it overwrites these two fields. I have tried to separate the state and postal code elements so that one of these is not directly above the country field - however when I set the country field to slide up with this layout, the ticket header prints completely blank.

The documentation on Ticket Design covers slide left but there doesn't seem to be anything on sliding up.

Is there anyone else that has experienced this issue that is willing to share their solution. I feel that it will be a simple fix and I am sure that I have achieved the same at previous organisations that I have worked - however the solution now escapes me...

Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks and regards,

Mardi.

  • Sorry Mardi, your follow up post didn’t come through to my email for some reason so I didn’t see it.

I’m a bit stumped as to why the country would be sliding up when it shouldn’t.  The only thing I can think of is that the case statement on the country might be causing it to not work properly.  Try removing it just to see if it stops sliding when there’s no mask.  If it does, then this might be a defect and you should open a help ticket to report it.  If it doesn’t stop sliding, then you should still open a help ticket because I’m out of ideas.  Either way, I think the next step is opening a help ticket, but please post to let us know what happens.

  • Thanks Kevin.

The issue was first identified before the case statement was added. I will try to remove this again and test to see whether it fixes the issue. I will arrange to raise a help ticket either way depending on the results.

    Thanks again for your advice.

    Mardi.
