An entire package seat was donated rather than one performance in the package. To avoid the seat reselling, the remainder of the seats were put in a hold code. Now, when I attempt to reverse the donation, I get the message "the seat has been sold and returned for resale in a subsequent order" and I cannot reverse the donation. Is this due to the fact that the seats were put on hold? Is there a way to reverse the donation after this has happened? Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
In our experience, unfortunately you cannot reverse a ticket donation if the tickets were put on hold after the donation happened. It only works if nothing about the status of that seat changed after it was donated.

Provided you have not resold the donated tickets in question, you can enter the order where they were donated. From there, go into your Sub Line Items tab, highlight the line(s) where the ticket donation occurs and chose the delete option. In my experience this only doesn't work if the seat(s) are not resold.
