Single Ticket Source Code

we are getting ready for our single ticket campaign to launch for the first time on Tessitura and are wondering what other organizations are using as a single ticket source code. Is it as simple as creating a source code named "single ticket" or do you break it down further or add in the year etc

any advice is welcomed with open arms :-)

  • We started doing one for each season, but it became cumbersome to recreate generic source codes every year. I would recommend doing an appeal and source with no ending date that you can use year after year.  This is also helpful for the ticketing staff to always be able to use the same source code. We do have several generic sources we use for tracking things like comps, exchanges and house orders. I’d say it’s best to keep it as simple as possible.

Then if you need to create sources that are specific to a show or will have a set ending date, add those under a separate appeal. Good luck with your launch!
