Good morning.
Is it possible to run UP_UPDATE_ZONE_NO on specific performances? I know you can update it by season, but we'd like to make certain performances within a season have differently designated price zones.

Yes, you can change your price maps in Season Maintenance, but if you are actually changing where the zone lines are drawn you still need to run scripts.

You can also update zones on a performance by performance basis in Season Manager. I know some theaters use this frequently for dynamic pricing.

I think UP_UPDATE_ZONE_NO can only be run by season, but your season could be in completely different facilities with different price zones, or in the same facility with completely different price zones. The only tricky part would be if you have multiple shows using the same Zone Map and you want to keep some Price Maps with the same Zones and others with different Zones. They you would need to split your zones and make them so they can be grouped on one Price Map as one Price Zone and another Price Map as a different Price Zone.
Does that make sense?

You can do it without changing the price maps as well. Simply selecting the seats that you want to change and then selecting the new price zone. I've seen this done on performances where an entire house for one performance in a run would be set to "A" price seats, or all the seats in the balcony set to a different zone, just as a couple of examples. When you do that, there's no need to run any scripts - it's all done in Season Maintenance, and the seats will be updated to the new price zones right away.
I might be wrong on this, but I think technically in that situation, even though it works and the seats come up at the new price, officially you're still supposed to run the scripts?
I have a vague memory of issues with the composite seat map after partial rezoning through season maintenance. But I may be mistaken. And that might have been more an issue for up_update_comp_maps more than up_update_zone_no, but I thought we're supposed to run all six after any sort of change anyway, not just the one directly related to whatever was changed (zone vs best seat etc).
