Hold Codes in RED for certain MOS

Hello,

I just ran a ticket import and have the seats I needed on a specific hold code. I ran the import twice, one time to seat orders and left some other orders unseated. For those that are unseated, I just went in to seat the imported order line and when I click on the seats it gives me an error message that says "Seat Unavailable, that seat is not in allocation."  The hold code  itself is Red in color. But, if I change the MOS, it allows me to seat the order no problem.

So my question I guess is it seems like its a property of the MOS with the hold code? However, the order import sat the orders using the hold code no problem. Why is that its just when I manually try to seat the line item this is happening? I am not sure where to look to fix it? I tried MOS in "references" and its not any of the properties in there, (or at least I don't think so).

Any ideas how to be able to seat this?

Thanks!

  • Hi Amy,

That means something’s off with your allocations.  Look on the Allocations tab to see which allocation code is on the seats; that code (and * for Unassigned counts as a code) needs to be associated with the MOS is you are using (you do that in Facility Manager).  The order import utility does not respect allocations, which is why it would have no problem with the seats.
