I'm having some problems with the package seating report and I'm wondering what if anything we are doing wrong.
The documents say "When run, the report searches for any package orders with unseated primary line items or unseated upgrade/alternate line items not marked unseatable that meet the entered criteria." In my understanding the report is looking for unseated line items upgrade or primary unless they have been marked unseatable. However after going through my upgrade process, I'm still getting entries on the report for orders where the sub-line status are either unseatable or upgraded, making it difficult to see what orders have been completed and what orders still need to be processed because they are all still listed on the report.
Is anyone else having this problem -- or what are we doing wrong that my unseatable and upgraded line items are still showing up on the package seating report?

Hi Elizabeth,
We have recently run into the same problem that you have described here. Have you been able to resolve it?
Thank you,
Jeff
We get this as well. There are some instances when you mark a line item unseatable that it doesn't work. I've noticed that this is generally when you've dropped the original seats and selected a new line item as primary. In order to get the "unseatable" to stick, you have to complete the order, reload it again, and then mark the line-item unseatable.
It's so easy to forget to do this so what we've been doing is putting Done [Login] on the order notes, that way when you run the report again you can see that some have been taken care of. When we're done seating, we go back to the ones that have been completed but are still showing up on the report, and mark these unseatable.
