Problem with Donated for Resale Seats being sold online

We have an upcoming performance that is sold out. Every seat in the house has a hold code on it so that we can control selling turned back tickets to a waiting list.  Some seats were donated for resale today and immediately sold online despite the fact that the web user does not have access to this hold code.  The T_defaults setting "Best Seat Donated Seats" is set to Yes, but I'm not understanding why this would supercede the hold code that was placed on these seats.  Does anyone have any advice for this issue? Is my best bet to change that T_default setting to No?

Thanks,

Amy

  • Try to place a hold over every seat in the house to catch those.  When a ticket is donated for resale it’s not placed on a hold automatically.

    Thanks,
