Packages

Hi

We have multiple facilities at our venue and are currently looking at how we can offer a package across multiple facilities with different price zones/maps.  Tessitura only allows you to select a single price map in package set up. The only option I can see is adding the discount as a price type - I wondered how other venues handled this?

Many thanks

    Hi Kevin

That’s great, I think a super package is the way to go – thanks for that.

    Hi Mandy,

Do you want to set up a fixed seat package or a flex package?  You can do either, the setup is just different.

If you want to set up a fixed seat package you need to use a super package.  To build a super package you create sub packages that only contain performances in the same facility that use the same zone map.  Then you add the sub packages to the super package and the super package does not use the zone field.

If you want to set up a flex package the zone field on the package is mostly irrelevant.  It needs to match the zone map you select for the performance groups, but beyond that it has no meaning.  When you are building the performance groups for the flex package, you can see performances across all your facilities, zone maps, and seasons, by checking the Filter by Business Unit Only box at the bottom of the screen.

For details on both of these see the Package Setup document.
