"Price Details", Editable Pricing, and Reporting

Softball question for someone out there, but I can't seem to locate in the documentation how tickets discounted or edited using the Price Dtls button are reported in standard box office reports.

1. Does the income from the edited price seats appear under the Price Type and Price Type category of the edited Price Type, or does it automatically appear under the disounted category?

For example, if I apply a $5 discount to a "Standard" ticket (Price Type: Standard; PT Category: Standard), does the income appear on the Box Office Statement report as lumped together with all other Standard PT tickets in the Standard category (and is therefore totally untraceable on the report), or does it show up differently somehow, perhaps in the Discount category (although, I'm not sure how this would work)?

2. What reports can I use to view transactions using the Price Dtls button?

  • Income from edited prices is listed under whatever price type was used.  So if you discount a price type that has a price type category of Standard that’s where the income will be reported.  The income will always be accurate but edits and discounts applied are not noted.  There are no standard reports that detail price edits or applied discounts.
