Student Ticketing Online

I was wondering how different organizations handle student ticketing, particularly online.

Do you offer online student ticketing? Do you restrict access via offers or MOS, use rankings, or other methods? Do you verify student status before or during purchase, or at will-call? What limits do you impose?

Looking for any and all input from any type of organization.

    Hello all,

We're in our 6th year of the "NExT" ticket program for college students.
    https://www.lyricopera.org/next/index.aspx

Fulltime college students have to register online and then they're
periodically sent a promo code for $20 tickets to certain operas. Each
fall they're asked to reactivate their account if they're still a fulltime
    student.

Here's how it's set up in Tessitura:

An attribute is assigned when they register, so we promote accounts with
    the current attribute.

Sales are online only in a unique MOS, with a unique price type. We use
Offers and allocate seats. They're limited to 4 tix per login.

Previous to this season, the buyers didn't know their seat location until
they picked up their tix at Will Call, which also served as an ID check.
This season NExT is 100% print-at-home, so the buyers know their locations
when the tix arrive in their inbox after the transaction. They can't
select their own seat. Seats are assigned based on our best available map.
The ID check now happens with the ticket-taker at the point of entry.

Feel free to contact me directly for more details on the program.

    Thanks,
    Mary
