Good morning all,
I've been asked if Tessitura can be installed and run on an iPad, and don't know the answer. Does someone else know? Thanks.
Lesley
As mentioned, you can't *run* Tessitura from an iPad, but you can access it. We use VNC & Microsoft Remote Desktop/Terminal Server for a number of things, and I did try a brief iPad test. I didn't do much more than access my session, launch Tess and look myself up, but it is possible. "Right-clicking" a seat map would be a challenge, though.
Ignition is a good client, and can give you the ability to get through a firewall. Jaadu is a Remote Desktop client that worked on the local network. And I use Mocha VNC lite at home on an iPhone. So there's a few remote access options available, based on your network and budget.
I use Logmein Ignition too and it works like a charm. even with two screens, you just shake your iPad and it switches to the other, awesome! (Yes, I'm easily amused.)
