Can you have a Package ask CSI Questions on TNEW?

Does anyone know if you can have a Package ask CSI questions on TNEW?

I have the 5 individual performances set up to ask additional questions (CSI). The 5 performances correctly display the CSI questions on TNEW. Now, I need to get the Fixed Package version of the performances (5 separate performances in a separate production season) to ask the same additional questions (CSI). The packages correctly show on the Package Listing page, but when we click on the Package, I can't get the CSI to display on the individual Package page.

I'm assuming I'm missing something. Otherwise, the only native thing I could find in the help system was using a Seating Request. I'd prefer to not use that in case we need to actually use that in the future.


Any insights would be appreciated.

    Assuming you are talking about questions using the LTR_TNEW_CUSTOM_FORM_DATA option, if I am not mistaken, questions for packages is not currently possible out of the box with TNEW.  I believe there are multiple ideas posted to the forums requesting this functionality.  I have my own suggestions/thoughts that I have made about it.  But we DO do this.  I have a custom version I created for our own use (and this one is a HEFTY customization, too; far from your easy plug and play option).  Happy to share what we do as always, but, as much as I try to get my customizations so that they are easy to use for other organizations, trying to get mine to work for you is not something for the faint of heart to attempt.  Just ends up being how it is with some customizations, I guess.

    If you are referring to something else, then I do not know.

  • Yes you are correct John. I couldn't get the AuxPkg keyword to display in Intended Use column of LTR_TNEW_CUSTOM_FORM_SAVE_DATA. I assume this is why we cannot map the CSI to the package.

    As a workaround, I was thinking of modifying the text below the Continue button. Stating that by purchasing the package they are agreeing to what I wanted in the CSI. I'll also add the equivalent text in the Order Confirmation.

  • Ha! I asked a similar question a few days ago in the Admin forum. With no response, I have opened up a help ticket with Support. I'll let you know if I hear anything.
