My org just switched to v16 on Monday. I thought Access Control was going to be a lot easier to use, but so far it's been a struggle.
Does anyone know if there is a webinar or something that will teach my team how to use the scanners? I've already built them all so that documentation isn't helpful anymore.
I need one to teach us how to actually scan a ticket or a membership card, because so far most of them have failed due to user error.
Hi Chelsea, as we discussed on our call today, the Device Profiles (TR_AC_PROFILES) table was not granted permission in Security and that was cauusing scanning to not work as intuitively as it should. This is an important table for v16 scanning to work correctly. For anyone reading this post later, the Acces Control Security Configuration information can be found in our documentation. Please reach out in your v16 upgrade ticket if you have any other specific questions. We don't have an Access Control webinar planned but will pass your feedback on to the team.
