Hi all, I'm currently planning a ticket build for an upcoming Science festival here at Australian Museum. It is something of a package where you book a morning or afternoon entry, an Expo session time and a workshop. However I've found that packages won't give us the flexibility we need (specifically we want families to be able to choose to send children of different ages to different workshops). At the moment I am testing building the 'day' as a series of individual productions with pop up messaging throughout the journey to guide visitors to almost build their own package of different performances. My question is, is there a way to pull all these performances into a composite ticket? Or can composite tickets only be used for packages?
Appreciate any advice, thanks!
Hi Tash - did you ever find a workaround for this? We are in the same boat - we like a single ticket per person per order regardless of how many products there are in the order.
We've not been able to use packages as the Pricing rules can only be applied at the package level & not per perf within the packages which is making the discounts for members & family tickets incorrect.

Hi Jo! Unfortunately not. We streamlined the number of performances as much as possible - for example, we removed the need to book an admission ticket before booking an expo or workshop, and reduced the GA admission performance by the capacity of the expo/workshops. We also played around with combining events into one performance - so for example you book a single ticket which includes an expo at 11 and a workshop at 12 - but this got too messy across events with different capacities. In the end we just had to send a million tickets per person. This year we have removed the need to ticket the expo element so at least its one less ticket for them, but its still not ideal.
I really wish that there was a way to have a composite ticket per person per order outside a package (not a fan of packages for a few reasons) - would be so much nicer onsite at the museum for the visitor to have a single ticket rather than a handful & also save so much ticket stock which would be nice $ wise but also for the environment.
We would love this too. It would be a great suggestion for Ideas. https://community.tessituranetwork.com/ideas/i/ideas
I've added that idea here! https://community.tessituranetwork.com/ideas/i/ideas/composite-ticket-for-non-package-orders
