Hi,
We're currently involved with the development of an iPhone App that will hopefully be able to sell tickets. We have set up a specific iPhone Mode of Sale in order to be able to use Allocations to block access to certain seat/sections of our auditoria that would require too much customisation in order to fully convey seating information.
However, our website currently uses Ranking to move certain groups of our customers to alternate Modes of Sale.
We have set up an Organisation for the iPhone with a specific iPhone User and iPhone User Group. The iPhone User Group only has access to the specific iPhone Mode of Sale and has now been prevented from seeing the Rank Type by being excluded from the Control Group associated with that Rank.
However, when logging into an account with the ranking applied Tessitura appears to be moving us to the Associated Mode of Sale.
We have never worked with Organisations before and would be grateful for any assistance with this issue.
Cheers K

Hi Keith,
You would need to add a variable named Organization Name to the web session using SetVariable at the outset. The value would be the organization you are using in T_DEFAULTS. By adding this variable to the session, anytime a default value is needed, it will take it from the T_DEFAULT values with that organization name. This includes the web user which should put the web session in the correct security context. There is more information about this in the System Defaults documentation.

Dear Gregg,
Thanks for the speedy reply, but we are already doing this with no luck.
I would suggest opening a support ticket in TASK and we will assist you.

Hi KeithThere's a bug in the wp_login script, which means it doesn't respect the cg on rank types. We've just worked through this with Chuck while we were setting up our new Membership program. There's a simple fix for it, so you should be able to get the patched version from Task.
