We are about to do one of our first Allocations which will be available on our website, over the phone and at the Box Office. We have an "Allocation" Mode of Sale ready to use but is it possible to have the Allocation available on the Internet, Phone and Window Modes of Sale without losing the capability to have these Modes of Sale available for other performances?

Unless the allocation is applied to the other performances you will not be able to sell it in your Allocations MOS. If the patron wants to buy another performance it will have to be in a seperate order under your regular MOS. If you allow the Allocations MOS access to the "unassigned" allocation then it will defeat the purpose of using an allocation in the first place as all seats will still be available to that MOS.
We use a lof of allocations, generally for specific promotions. Because the patron is coming for a specific promotion we rarely have incidents in which the patron wants to purchase more than that performance. When they do, they have been very understanding about needing to process the transaction seperately.
