Allocations

We are about to do one of our first Allocations which will be available on our website, over the phone and at the Box Office.  We have an "Allocation" Mode of Sale ready to use but is it possible to have the Allocation available on the Internet, Phone and Window Modes of Sale without losing the capability to have these Modes of Sale available for other performances?

Thank you very much!

Usually the new MOS would trigger a new Price Type and you would see it that way.

My discount mode of sale is only associated with the new allocation code, and not the unassigned one, so for some reason the MOS change isn't happening.  How will I know of if the mode of sale is changing on the website?

    Hi Julia,

You have your default web mode of sale set up correctly, it’s the discount mode of sale that may not be set up correctly.  The discount mode of sale should only be associated with the allocation code you have created for this purpose.  It should not be associated with the Unassigned allocation code.  That is the code that makes the unallocated seats available.  If the discount MOS is definitely not associated with the Unassigned allocation code, then it sounds like the MOS change is not happening on the web.  Have you been able to confirm that after entering the promo code the MOS is definitely changing?
