I have a package that I'm eliminating for the coming year (Saturday 9:00pm) and I want to create a rollover for them so that I can track them as renewing subscribers and so I can send them a form with their On-Account balance. Has anyone ever rolled over a package into nothing or should I create a dummy package that says something like "SELECT NEW PACKAGE"?

We consolidated performance days a few years ago and went with the time-intensive option of merging them with current subscribers for a similar night. For example, we used to have two Friday evening packages during each run so I was tasked with melding the two seat maps together. What I ended up doing was creating a "dummy" performance where I went in, patron by patron, and pulled seats as close as possible to their original location. I would then tag their account and indicated how far away from their location they ended up, anything less than 3 rows was considered no big deal. This took weeks and ruffled a lot of feathers. But since every account was tagged, I was able to have custom messaging on every order form explaining where they used to be and where their new seats were and offered free seat upgrades.
