Hi gang!
I have a package that I'm eliminating for the coming year (Saturday 9:00pm) and I want to create a rollover for them so that I can track them as renewing subscribers and so I can send them a form with their On-Account balance. Has anyone ever rolled over a package into nothing or should I create a dummy package that says something like "SELECT NEW PACKAGE"?

You could also try rolling them into a different package with some sort of messaging saying "Sorry, your old package is not being offered this year, we think you might like this!". At least then you would have proper rollover orders and everything ready to go there. Of course, that depends on how easy that might be to find a "comparable" package and if there might be enough seats available to roll into that new package without creating a massive amount of shuffling work in order to try and seat them what is likely on top of another rollover that would have already been done into that package.
Obviously not the tip top of solutions. Still, we have done that before, and it worked reasonably well.

Thanks John - Yea...I have a comparable date as far as prices go, but there's no guarantee of the seating lining up. I need to see exactly how many people this affects and go from there - but I'm thinking I may just need to create my own Renewal Notice for them and not have a Rollover package pre-built.
