Hello everyone,
We've got a brand spanking new barcode scanner and are going to hopefully use it for recording attendance.
In the record attendance screen, however, when I try and scan a barcode it enters (what I think is) the N-Scan number, rather than the ticket number.
Can you help? Do we need a different barcode on the tickets? We'd quite like the N-Scan barcode just in case we ever decide to use Access control.

The Record Attendance screen recognizes both the N-Scan number and the ticket number. Check out the Bar Codes document for more details:

Now what is getting scanned in completely dependent on what you printed as a bar code. If you printed the N-Scan number, that’s what’s getting scanned. If you printed the ticket number, that is what is getting scanned. To auto commit either of those pieces of data, your scanner has to be programmed to add sentinel characters to it.
