TNEW Mobile Ticket Rollout

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has rolled out mobile tickets via TNEW over the last year. We are currently setting up mobile tickets in TNEW for our first performances, when those do happen. I was wondering how your organization handled this. Did you rip off the band aid and go full mobile? Do you have resident companies? Did you have all tickets go mobile? Did you do view my account, email, both?

Any and all information you have is beneficial.

  • Good Morning Chris - We currently use the mobile app provided by Instant Encore and haven't decided on how or if we will use TNEW's mobile ticket option.

    • We have 3 resident companies -  We yet to have conversations with our Res Cos, currently they don't have to push the app.  I presume that we'll have some sort of hybrid model with them, whereas tickets sold through us, which include all web sales, will default to that delivery method.  Orders processed by our resident companies will probably keep offering the standard PAH, will call, or mail.
    • We are currently not mobile only - We did go mobile/will call only for our Hamilton performances and it went really well.  So much so that starting this fall, tickets purchased through TPAC will default to having the app as our delivery method, allowing folks to change that to will call if they so choose.  We are still working through other options like PAH or mail, not sure where we will land on those.

Happy to discuss further if needed.

    Good Luck!
