comp requests

Hi everyone,

This isn’t strictly a Tess question (though it could be!), but want to see what everyone else is doing about comp requests.  I’m taking a look at how we process staff tickets and wondered what you all do-  are staff comps available on all shows across the board, do staff have to fill out a form and have it signed, how do you keep track of which shows are on offer, do you strictly enforce your comps policy or are you pretty relaxed….  Questions like that!  Any words of wisdom as I think about what I might want to change would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers,

Kathleen

This week the Derngate auditorium presents two fantastic concerts, first with Alvin Stardust’s superlative show I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll on Tue 15 June, and then the phenomenally successful One Night Of Queen on Thu 17 June. On Fri 18 June our Hometown Season continues with Town a new play in which Northampton writer DC Moore poignantly examines enduring themes of identity, isolation and belonging, rooting them in modern life. • Hello Kathleen,

Staff and musicians are allowed 2 complimentary tickets per concert weekend for all our Classical Series concerts.  These tickets are handled online through allocations.  For all other concerts staff and musicians fill out a comp request form that is either e-mailed or put in the box office managers mailbox.  Those requests are filled based on availability week of show.

I hope this helps, best of luck!
