Hi. After watchihg the Mobile Ticket Pop-Up Skill Builder, I have been doing all the appropriate set up so we can change over from PaH to Mobile Tickets. The webinar was really good and looked straightforward, but I have been having trouble sending Mobile Tickets after choosing them as the despatch option in the client.
I have just read another post on here which says this is not possible and PaH will still have to be offered for Phone purchases. I can't believe this is correct, can anyone confirm? This wasn't mentioned anywhere in the Webinar.
I was hoping mobile tickets would mean the phasing out of designing pdfs, and the use of hard copy tickets, but it seems not.
Is the use of Mobile Tickets in the client a likely option in the next upgrade?
Hi Don, this is correct. The documentation currently reads that this functionality is only available via web orders at this time.
Hi Don,
We will be adding and improving the mobile ticket functionality shortly after the v16 release, such that you could use it exclusively and move away from Print at Home. We look forward to delivering the Tessitura application portion of this feature as soon as we can.
We wanted to release the TNEW/API portion as quickly as we could to help with Covid-related circumstances, and that had the result of creating a bit of a gap for between client and web functionality in short term.
We'll continue to update the community if anything changes regarding this feature.
Thanks

Hi Amber and Chris, thanks for your replies.
What the documentation linked to the Popup Skill Builder doesn't tell you is that it is only TNEW that it's only related to TNEW orders. I blew about 30 hours last week trying to get it to work. That info is in the v15.1 documentation though. (Thomas Chiu saved my bacon there)
Oh yes, I was there too Heath a few weeks back. I guess we are all anxious to get rid of PDF tickets.
especially as we are starting to go back into theatres over here. Minimising Box Office contact is key.
