Hi all, Jorena from American Conservatory Theater SF. We have a "Comp: Staff Online" price type in a Pricing Rule for any staff that logs into their Tessitura staff account. However, this "Comp: Staff Online" price type is appearing BEFORE staff can log in - the public can access it. Anyone have experience with this or advice how to fix it? Staff have a constituency that allows the price to go from FULL to Comp: Staff Online.
You will need to create a source code to use internally to block that price type from showing up to the general public. We use one for our dance academy:
Hey Pal!
Yep we have an evergreen “pricing rule dummy” source code that we add to price types to prevent a PType from showing up on the web in our general web MOS.
Happy to walk you thru this if you need additional help. You know how to reach me. :)
Hi Jorena,
Since you are using a pricing rule, there is a feature designed for handling this. You can remove the association between the price type and the website user group (but still leave the price type association to the mode of sale), and the pricing rule will be able to switch tickets over to the comp price type.

Thanks all! Testing it out and making some head way.
