Hard Tickets and Mobile Tickets for events

Hi everyone

Sending my first message to the forums and I'm hoping this is not a silly question....??

We are in the process of setting up mobile ticketing........ As we have a number of elderly patrons who are not internet users we still need to have the option of hard tickets via the box office.  As far as I can see this would mean more or less duplicating price types so we can have the mobile ticket template attached to one set and our usual BOCA ticket templates attached to print the hard tickets?

Any ideas/input would be gratefully received.

Thanks

Josie

  • Hi Josie,

At TPAC in Nashville, TN our ticket designs work as hard-printed BOCA tickets, e-tickets (print-at-home), and mobile tickets via our app. On our setup, there is no need to duplicate pricetypes with the variation only being ticket delivery method. We do occasionally use a separate pricetype for tickets to events with a book or VIP component where a hard ticket must be printed.  But setup can allow for a single ticket design to be set with a dynamic offering of delivery methods.
