Best Practices for rezoning the Gen Admission season that's already built out?

Our Air Zoo has all of its daily admissions for the rest of the calendar year built out already but we need to rezone them to split the day into two different sessions (morning and afternoon admissions). Does anyone have any helpful hints for this? We do not use N-Scan, nor have we ever had timed admissions of any kind, so we naively thought this to be much simpler than it turns out to be... All help (and gentle mockery) gratefully accepted.  Thanks!

  • This would be a great topic for the upcoming open space discussions!  I'd like to know:

For those that opted to create new performances and a new production season, did you put the new performances in the new season or move the old performances there and put the new ones in the old prod season?  How did you address existing orders for those performances?

For those that opted to adjust the existing zone map, how might this affect reporting on previous performances that use that zone map?  Are there other implications you're concerned about?  How did you address existing orders for those performances?

For all, did you put any special holds on the seats for canceled performances?

I'm sure there are many more questions out there.  I'm planning to participate in the Friday session, so I hope some people interested in this topic will be there!

  • I built out a new Production Season "2020 Timed Admission", and built out a new set of performances for the rest of the year, putting them into the new Prod Season.

The original is still functional, but taken out of the Web Mode of Sale, so if/when we switch back, I can update the MOS to have them sellable again.

We've got comps available in the new season that our staff can use onsite to transfer the tickets onsite. Depending on the customer interaction/request, we could also refund and have them purchase a new set of tickets from the new performance.
