Hello!
We have a guest artist coming in the spring who has quite a complicated build. They will have standard pricing with aisle lifts, an external promoter fee, VIP packages (also with aisle lifts) and Platinum seating. We also will be charging our 10% per ticket fee and we have a standard $3 facility fee we build into all tickets. Any recommendations on how to build this as one event? I think we could pull it off as three separate events (this would theoretically be the easiest way to report for settlement with the promoter), but we're hoping there's a better way to do this.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated!
Hi Madison!
Do the VIP packages and Platinum seating have specific locations for the seats or is it an add on to the ticket? Is your venue reserved or GA?
Hi Jordan!
The VIP packages and Platinum seating both have specific seating locations. Our venue is completely reserved.
Alrighty, I would suggest creating a new zone map for the event within the venue you are using to designate specific locations of those price types. Then, when you set up pricing, you'll just want to disable any zones not within the vip or platinum pricing for the price types you use for them. Does that make sense?

Here is an example of the pricing set up for that same instance for something we are doing here. Not the prettiest thing, but it works for complicated builds.
