We are starting a new Subscription Telemarketing Campaign and I would like to be able to see which telemarketer has renewed which subscribers. I was thinking about tracking it through Source and Solicitior, but Solicitor is usually used only for Contibutions.
Do you track ticket sales Telemarketing and if so, how do you report on it?
Thanks!
Nicole
Nicole,
One thing we have done in the past to track telemarketing sales is by building an Attribute. We didn’t use it to track the telemarketer specifically, but we did use it to track how many times we had called a subscriber. So we would use an Attribute of “Telemarketing Sales”, and Attribute Values of “Called Once-Left Msg”, “Called Twice-Left Message”, “Called Once-No Response”, etc. Then we would update these as we called. You could probably use this in much the same way to track your telemarketers. For example, set up an Attribute of “Telemarketing Sales-Received” and then make the Attribute Values the names of your telemarketers. You can then pull the attribute info from List Manager.
I would be happy to discuss this further if you have any questions. Good luck!

Hi
We use source and solicitor to track telemarketing sales. It has worked well for us.
Kristen –
Do you have a custom report that reports how many subscriptions each solicitor sold?
If so, do you mind sharing? J
Thank you!

One thing I forgot to mention that we also use is a custom tab that records all the details that happened during a call. I have included a screen shot of this. The project is also available in foot prints.
Since this is a cutom tab all the data is stored in a custom table. We have custom reports the run off this call log table and we also have list manager, output set builder elements built as well.
