This is a TNEW problem I'm hoping that someone else has finessed.
Our members have different pricing than the general public, but depending on their membership they have a limit on the number of tickets they can buy at that price. We have five different limits. We set up different constituencies for these levels (five levels in our case) and used pricing rules to send them to a MOS that has an offer that limits them to the proper number of tickets. This works fine.
BUT -- if the member gets to the cart, and then returns to the events calendar to buy tickets to another performance, the MOS shifts from the constituency defined MOS back to the regular TNEW MOS, and this error message appears when they add it to the cart.:
"An unexpected error has occurred and, in order to continue, your cart may have been cleared." And indeed, their cart has been cleared.
Fortunately, this doesn't happen very often, but we would like to solve this.
Any ideas? Thank you all.
Since pricing rules don't flip the MOS on their own, are you layering them with a promo code?
