Booking Tours through Tessitura

Is anyone using ticketing to book tours through Tessitura. Our current system has our Education department doing double-entry first into their Access tour database and then into the museum's scheduling system.  We are looking to reduce their double-entry and get their data into Tessitura where it can be shared with our other consortium education departments.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Amelia

  • Hi,

we are also doing all our tour ticketing through Tessitura. since we run multiple tours a day, we create 1 performance per day and split it into 'time zone' sections, which makes it easy to transfer the correct tour information onto the ticket. I'm attaching an image of an example screen with the 'price zones' as timings.

    good luck :)

  • Hi Amelia

We run multiple guided tours per day every day, including various types of tours and in multiple languages. Like Michal the principle is one ‘performance’ per tour type/product per day, with the sections used to represent time the slots.
