Hi all,
We're a large GA venue that offers Tours, Audio Guides and other extras, and we want to explore the use of composite ticketing. I know this would mean the use of flex packages, but our GA tickets are currently in one season, our Tours are in another, and other Add-Ons in a 3rd. While I'm no stranger to subscription setup, in the past, I've only had to build packages where everything resided in the same season. Am I correct in thinking that all perf groups must be in the same season? If so, are there any fun tricks that I'm missing that could get around this?
Thanks!Kathleen
A Package Season and a Performance Season are two different concepts. In other words, you can have a Package Season with multiple Performance Seasons.
Ticketing Setup and Administration > Package Setup > Package Planning
"Each package is assigned to a specific season and campaign. Consideration should be given to the reporting needs for packages in relation to the season and campaign selected for each package.
NOTE: A package need not be assigned to the same season and campaign as the performances composing it."
Hi Kathleen,
Are you trying to get Perf Groups with different Seasons into the one Package?Try ticking the "Filter by Business Unit Only" checkbox on the bottom of the Perf Group builder and see if that helps.

Heath, you are amazing. That is EXACTLY what I was looking for. You'd think that after using Tess for 18 years and managing 600+ super packages at a time, I'd know everything about subs- apparently not! Your guidance is much appreciated!
No worries glad i could help.
I remember using that once about 5 years ago at another org and pulling my hair out when i was trying to make work what seemed like a simple request from my boss. It was a "what happens when i push this button?" moment
