Hi All,
We're beginning the process of re-thinking our fee structure. Currently we charge a per ticket fee by phone, a one time order fee online, and no fees in person. We've thought about rolling fees into the ticket price, but we would like to hear what other organizations are doing with their fees, and why. I'd appreciate any input on this.
Thanks,
Amber Gale
Hi Amber,For many years we had no external booking fees for our customers and included inhouse management costs in the pricing. We had an external exchange and postage fee for single ticket buyers.A few years ago a revenue raising decision was made to add on fees, after much discussion the decision was made to have transaction/postage fee for all ticket purchases above a set amount. Currently that is set at $35, this was to ensure we didn't charge those purchasing cheap concerts such as our children's concerts which we subsidise to keep accessible to all. This covers postage fee as well. This fee is the same across all channels. We charge an exchange fee for single ticket buyers, this service is free for subscribers.Brenda
