In Tstats. Tickets cube. pulling in sales by date Ticket Order Date/Calendar/Calendar-date
what time is it pulling. these numbers do not jive with my other reports...which are from 12:01am-11:59pm
would love some clarification.
Hi Erik,
If you look at the bottom of the TSTATS screen, there should be a date and time the data warehouse was refreshed. Generally speaking, TSTATS is refreshed nightly and is not "live" data.

yes.
I was not clear I think.
If I pull in how much was sold on my daily sales report...let's say for 09.01.18- this report will look at all transactions on that date within the hour parameters of 12:01am - 11:59pm...then I get a specific amount.
When I create the exact parameters in Tstats I get a different dollar amount. not for every date mind you but enough that it is a bit odd- especially since if I pull a full calendar and look at an entire production then end totals match...just not each day
maybe Tstats "looks at the day" differently? make sense?
Are you sure this isn't an issue due to exchanges? We tend to exchange in original orders which can then add revenue and tickets to a previous Order Date but not in a report that is using Transaction Date.
hmmm...this just might be the issue. drat.
thanks
T-Stats does not look at transaction date. The order date dimension in T-Stats refers to the Order Date shown on the orders screen in Tessitura. So regardless of when the transaction occurred or the order were created, T-Stats is only ever looking at the date of the order itself. In addition to what Nicole mentioned about possible exchanges or modification to an existing order, if you ever manually modify the order date when creating an order (either to backdate or futuredate the order), it will also not line up with any report that is based on transaction date.
You mentioned a daily sales report, if you mean the standard Tessitura Box Office Daily Sales Report, then it is expected behavior that that report will not line up with T-Stats.
