Training For New Ticket Center Reps

Former Member
Former Member $organization

Hey All!

I have recently taken over our Ticket Center and we have a slew of new hires coming in. Looking into old documentation there is very little training wise. Other than just having them watch the Tessitura videos, does anyone have quizzes or tests, games, an outline, ANYTHING? We are looking to bring them on next week and I need all the help I can get.

Slight smile

Thanks!

  • Hi Ashley,

Great question, and I can't wait to hear more about how others are bringing on new team members.

In the meantime, there are a few resources on our website that I want to make sure you've considered.

A lot of organizations use the introductory courses to on-board new ticketing hires. You can find the Introduction to Ticketing course here: https://www.tessituranetwork.com/Support/training/Intro-Courses/intro-to-ticketing  Each chapter is broken into easy-to-digest video lessons of under 20 minutes each, and the concepts in each lesson are immediately reinforced with a brief quiz.

If your new team members require more in-depth training, because they're going to be managing and updating your ticketing configuration, our 3-week, all-virtual Fundamental Ticketing course was designed to meet that training need. You can find more information here: https://www.tessituranetwork.com/Support/TCPD/fundamental-ticketing

Finally, if you wish to develop your own training program, specific to your organization, you may want to start with our training agendas, which include helpful links to the Help System topic for each topic being covered in the training. These are the same agendas our Application Specialists use to train Tessitura. They are Word documents, so you can download them and modify them for your specific needs. You can find the training agendas here: https://www.tessituranetwork.com/Support/Resources/Training-Agendas

I hope one or some combination of these resources are helpful to you.
