TLCC 2018 - Invisible Patrons

Hello!

For the 2018 TLCC, we are planning a Quickfire session (Invisible Patrons) covering creative ways of capturing patron contact information and interesting ways to bring them back to your organization.

The session will take place on Monday at 10:45 AM. If you or someone from your organization have new and interesting practices or ideas to share, we would love to have you as part of this presentation.

Invisible Patrons - Session Description:

From capturing patron data from walk up sales to collecting information from third-party sellers; learn how organizations are getting to know their 'ghost patrons' and incenting them to return.

  • Sadly, I won't be attending the TLCC 2018 this year.  But this is a subject near and dear to my heart.  I would love to lean about any ideas that anyone has found to capture our walk up patrons.

    Thanks,

    Lee Ann Allison

  • At FTC we use a wifi portal that creates basic constituent profiles tied to email addresses piped directly to Tessitura via the API.

Over the past year we have collected a moderate number of new emails addresses (currently these are only new customers, anyone on the list is merely opt'd back into our mailing lists).

In the future I plan to enable customer to select varying interests, as well as potentially the event that may have been occurring when the customers connected to our network. utilizing a normalized email address as a UID we can then also tie this information to customers we already have in-file. SMS may be another area of interest for us here.

Remarketing based on interest and event could then be done, even if someone else purchased tickets or the patrons had come in via a rental event.

  • Following up to see if anyone else attending TLCC2018 would be interested in presenting for our Invisible Patrons session. Are you using collecting patron data in a unique way and are you also contacting those patrons with fun offers? discounts? new opportunities? We'd love to hear from you!

Feel free to email directly or respond below.

    Thank you,

    Dani
