Kiosk Use

Hello,

We installed one Kiosk last year in our temporary performing space, The Courtyard Theatre.  So far we have issued around 1500 tickets.

We wondered what percentage of other venues 'collect at box office tickets' (is this 'will-call' in US terminology?) were issued via the kiosk?  For the new Royal Shakespeare and Swan Theatres we plan to have two kiosks which are more visible from the box office queue and would like to estimate their usage.

Would be great to know Kiosk usage in permanent venues that have had a dedicated campaign to encourage bookers to use it.

    I set our up last year.  It is a pain.  What I found was that the GUI interfaces are not workable for much beyond the graphics. 

     

    IF you are still in need of files let me know.

    I have setup the kiosks again recently, we have some new software which doesn’t search on the whole credit card number. Our config while will be different because of the new functionality but I’m happy to share if you want it?

    I'm just adding a response from Gary Halliday at the Southbank Centre so other users can see the response:

    Just under 50% off all our COBO tickets are printed at the kiosks, you can figure this out by querying t_order_seat_hist, join it on t_order for the cobo delivery, and use the user id from the kiosks.

    It would be great if anyone else wants to add their figures on too.
