CC Swipe

Hello Tessiturians,

Our credit card swiper has stopped automatically filling in the card holder's name when it's physically swiped.  Has this happened to anyone else?  Not sure if this was due to our recent upgrade to 12.5.

Thanks

Tatiana

  • I have noticed this as well.  It will populate the CC name from the card in Quick Sale mode but not in the regular payment window.

If your card swipe is set up as keyboard emulation, you could try swiping into notepad to see the raw output, and then compare it to a working swipe. Most swipes are programmable; there could be some sentinel characters that aren't configured correctly.
