Is there a way to pre-set the "Order Category" to "Standard Order?"

Amy, I don't believe there is a way to do this without some manner of customization. Per the documentation, Order Category is an optional field in the ticket order area and I haven't been able to find anything in the system tables that suggests being able to make any change to what initially displays. We only have one entry in our TR_ORDER_CATEGORY system table and the default when we go through a ticket order still goes to (none). Thank you, Brian

Thanks! I was looking in TR_ORDER_CATEGORY as well, so I assumed there wasn't an automation. Is there a place that you can set that an order category isn't required on an order?

Amy, Order category isn't a required field. You can leave it blank.

Perhaps I'm missing a setting. It IS a required field for us right now. Where would I edit that? It won't let an order finish without adding it in

It must be set as required in MOS setup - 'Require Category'. If you un-check that it won't be required.
