We are trying to put a message pricing rule on sub renewals and it will not fire. As of now I have the rule set to fire when the item is viewed from the cart on the website. This is the first time I have had a problem with it not firing. Is it because the subscription is already in the cart and not being added? Any ideas as to where to place the rule to get it to fire?
Oh dear.
You don’t think it is because rules fire when items are added or removed from the cart and since renewals are technically already in the cart, it doesn’t know to fire?

That is exactly right. Even though the renewal is already in the cart, unless something else is added to the cart by the user there is nothing for the rule to clasp onto to trigger.
