Surveys (MOS)

Hello

Is anyone using Surveys with their customer zero orders?

Is there a way of reporting on the survey answers for marketing purposes? e.g. list of visitor postcodes that have been collected.

Thank you

  • David,

We have a custom report that does this.  I am happy to share the code, but it is highly customized to reference custom tables that we are using that would have to be edited out during a re-write for your purposes.

In addition, I have not been able to test it yet, but the new version of T-Stats should be able to be configured to do this as well and that may work best if you are in a position to upgrade.

Please let me know if you would like a copy of our stored procedure to use as a jumping off point.

  • Hello Sadie

Many thanks for your reply. That is very kind of you to offer up your custom report.

I am guessing that you have had to go down this route because there is no standard Tessitura report or procedure to output this information from any surveys set-up?

  • Hi David,

There is a standard report in the "Campaign and Appeal" folder called the Survey Statistics Report which will provide survey data, including those for general public/customer zero orders. The documentation is here: http://www.tessituranetwork.com/Help_System_v125/Content/Reports/Survey%20Statistics.htm

If you don't see it in your system, you may need to be granted access to the report in the Security Application.

  • David,

We wrote a custom report for several reasons instead of only using the standard reporting.

    1.  We only ask for the ZIP code survey on Constituent 0 orders and use the embedded address zip code for all other accounts, and we wanted these to be aggregated automatically.

    2. Our reporting requires that we be able to isolate a specific GEOAREA for alternate reporting purposes which the custom report allowed us to do.

    3.  We needed to be able to group number of  tickets, by ticket type, by zipcode.

It is my understanding that we will be able to get some of this automatically with the new version of T-Stats, but was not sure how much detail you needed for your project.

    Hope this helps.

  • Dear Michael and Sadie

Many thanks for coming back to me.
