Tessitura Help

I'm new with Tessitura at the Virginia Symphony Orchestra and I have little questions that come up every day that I have no idea how to find the answers for. I do not find any resources online helpful, they confuse me even more than I was. I come from a history with ETix, so this is a huge change for me.

Is there any specific phone number I can call or person I can email that can give me help with my problems in a very timely manner?

Right now my struggles are with discounts and promo codes, as well as trying to figure out how to promp constituents with a message after ticket sales.

Thanks.

  • Jonathan,
Sorry to hear this. You guys have a Consortium, right? We also have one and often use each other locally as resources for these types of things combining training with the online resources. Are you using the help button in you database to find resources or are you searching through forums and T-Classes, maybe even a combo of all of these things? Sometimes knowing the right place to go first is helpful. If there isn't someone that can take you through things locally there is always one of us.
Do you want to reach out to me personally? My email is Janna.ellis@yale.edu

  • Hello!

Thanks for reaching out. Our consortium leader just had a family emergency so she's out for a little bit. There's been such a great response on here that I'm already in contact with a few people, so I'll keep it with them as to not overwhelm my mailbox. But if all else fails I'll be reaching out to you.

I've tried my best at the help topics, classes, forums, but I'm so new with this system that I have trouble even understanding the terminology being used half the time. I'm confident that in time I'll be a pro, but these first few weeks with the system are a challenge.

    Thank you!
