OH MY!
So I am trying to get my head around the complicated world of pricing rules.
Aside from the fact that there are not enough "recipes" in pricing rules options that can be used with out entering into the world of packages and Performance Groups...can anyone help me?
I want to set-up a rule whereby if a certain price type is selected you then access another price type. i.e. without a specific price type being in the basket the rule will not allow you to add another different price type to basket / same order number.
Does Tessitura not like users to sort by performance dates? Like all the listed dates in the packages part of Tessitura, dates can't be sorted Pricing Rules 'Product Chooser'....they are only displayed numerically which to be honest it not very helpful. Other parts of Tessitura can be searched and listed in chronological order e.g. Season Manager but clearly not in these areas? Why not? Sure a wee bit of consistency might be useful and certainly helpful to users.
Look forward to any replies.
Wouldn’t the “Add on Rule” work for both of these?
All of our Event codes include the date so I had never noticed that they don’t show up in date order. Very interesting. Date sort would be a nice feature.

Hi David,
Sounds like something similar that i'd like to do with pricing rules, at Cheltenham Festivals we have some events where we require an adult to attend a with every child, but we don't require a child to attend with an adult.
So we basically only want child prices to be available when an adult ticket exists in an order - at the moment we don't have a solution to it either - but it would be one we would like to see in future Tessitura developments....

But what is the 'Action'?
Price Change? Price Type Change? Message only.
I need to make them buy a wheelchair position ticket in order to access the Wheelchair Companion seat.
Thanks for replying Nicole
