Hi Everyone,
We are trying to find a way of reporting upon the extra revenue we have made, and can potentially make from our new Yield Management/Dynamic Pricing initiatives.
We'd be looking at the amount made per zone before any changes, what was gained/lost by making the changes and the % change across individual performances as well as a Season.
I was wondering if anybody had any ideas or experience of making dynamic pricing changes and then reporting on the gain/loss, ideally through Standard reports already in place.
Or if somebody has managed to customise reports in some way to do this?
If this sounds like something you have knowledge on, or an idea of how to get this information from Tessitura...I would love to hear from you.
James
Hi James,
Have you had a look at the Performance Revenue Gains-Loss report?
Kelly
Hi Kelly,
Thanks for replying.
Yes, indeed I have. To give more clarity, the way we have increased/decreased price is to change them over the top on our Standard and Full Price for example It is not part of a pricing event.
Having pulled that report, it does not seem to show a variance of the base price against itself if it has since been changed?
Back before “Home” price existed I used to create a Price Type that used my original pricing and mark that as Base Price and then go into T-Stats Seats Cube and use the Base Price Dimension and the Price Types that were dynamically priced. Then I would use Cost of Discount since that is looking at the difference between Base Price and whatever price was sols. Since T-Stats updates overnight you would want to make sure your “Base Price” Price Type is set with original prices prior to pulling the info.
Now I just use RMA and call it a day.
I hope you use T-Stats.
Nicole

Assuming you're on 12.5.something, I'm pretty sure we've got something set up for this. I'll have a look when I'm back in the office on Monday and let you know.
Best,
Sarah
Hi Sarah,
Yes 12.5.1. That would be great. Thanks very much in advance for anything you can find.
Best wishes,
