N-Scan, locking down the scanners

Hi,

We are having issues with our Motorola MC40 scanners where settings are getting changed, Wi-Fi being turned off.

Is anyone else using any apps or something else to restrict access to the settings on their Android scanners?

    I just programmed our Symbol TC 70 Android scanners and had the same issue.  You can download the Enterprise Home Screen application that will help you lock down the home screen here (you'll find a zip file under Public Software).  I also had to make some adjustments in the config file to ensure only N-Scan was accessible.  I'm not sure it'll help with the scanner model you have, but it's certainly worth a try.
