Pricing Rules Category

Hi,

We've just upgraded out Test system to V.12.5 and i am getting into the Pricing Rules set up. Does anyone have any advice regarding strategies for setting up the Pricing Rules Category System Table? documentation is a little vague on the purpose of segmenting into different categories.

I have 3: Add-On, Discount, and Presale. I set them up this way so that I can report on them differently.
