Gift Certificates on the Web

Has anyone figured out how to program the web site to add a delivery fee to a Gift Certificate order?

Thanks

  • Thanks Nathan.

Our problem is that our web developers are struggling to attach courier fees to Gift Certificate orders on the web. The restriction they have found is that the API call UpdateFee limits fees to User Defined Fees.

If an order does not include any performances or packages, but only contains the purchase of a gift certificate, automatic fees will not be applied to the order, in the client or on the Web, as the application of automatic fees is based on the selection of performances and/or packages to which the fees should apply.  So the only way to apply a fee to such an order, in the client or on the web, would be to use a User Defined fee.
