Exporting a list

I need to export several lists to Excel. Does Tessitura support this?

    You are going to want to create an Output set with the desired fields in it, run the report "Execute an Output Set" in the "Lists and Output Sets" folder with your desired list(s) and output set, and then save the results to Excel.  If you have access to List Manager, you should have access to that as well.

  • Lists get exported to Excel by running the list through a report to pull the data you want. Two common reports to use are:

    • User Defined Format from a List: Can create envelopes, mailing labels, and several other formats; run any one of them and then go to Reports on the top menu bar and select Save As to save to Excel. (Make sure to check the box to include data labels.)
    • Execute an Output Set: Output sets are set up by local Tessitura users to include data that may not be included in the fields of User Defined Format from a List. For instance, you can set up an output set to include the most recent gift, or most recent ticket purchase. There is a very handy Output Set Cookbook that you can download from tessituranetwork.com.
