past classes/performances

We've just started using ticketing for tracking class enrollment (class = performance).  My question is around way(s) to process ticket orders past the performance date.  Performance date in system does not have to equal the day the class actually takes place, so long as we plan around that. Just wondering how other organizations handle, if they have done anything like this, besides the obvious of getting class registrations processed in coordination with the times the classes actually take place. In addition to organizational delays getting data from the education department to someone who can enter, we're also thinking about getting artifact data out of paper forms into the system.

  • You can allow any “performance/class” to have a sales date that is past the actual performance date. You would need to make sure your Modes of Sales and price types have an end date that is after the actual “performance/class”. I think that’s what you were wondering. Correct me if I’m wrong.
